Backups

Daily application-data snapshots

Account, collection and application JSON data is copied into a dated archive outside the live application directory. The automated job runs daily and retains the latest 30 days of snapshots. Access is restricted to the server account.

Recovery

Backups support restoration

Snapshots are intended for operational recovery from accidental corruption or deletion. They are not a substitute for your own export, so collectors can download CSV copies whenever they need them.

If Cardography closes

Notice and an export window

If an orderly closure becomes necessary, Cardography will aim to give at least 30 days' notice and keep account exports available during that period. If an urgent shutdown makes that impossible, existing data will be made available for export where reasonably and legally possible.

Account deletion

Download a CSV export if you want to retain a copy.
Cancel an active monthly or annual subscription from billing before deleting the account.
Open Account, enter the account email and the confirmation phrase, then submit permanent deletion.
Live account, collection, saved-view and session records are removed immediately. Residual copies age out of the 30-day backup cycle; limited payment or security records may be retained only where legally required.
